Russia's massive combined attack on Ukrainian cities on April 16 forced Poland to take emergency measures to protect its airspace. It was reported by the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA).

The airports in Lublin and Rzeszów were forced to temporarily suspend all air operations. This decision was explained by the need to ensure full freedom of action for military aviation.

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces decided to take up combat fighters in the sky because of the threat posed by the russian attack near the NATO borders. The military assured that all procedures are aimed at ensuring the safety of the Polish sky during the intense shelling of Ukrainian territories by missiles and drones. Currently, air traffic in the border regions is partially paralyzed.

We also reported that russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones at night, there are killed and injured in 5 districts of the capital. As a result of the night attack on Kyiv, houses in four districts were destroyed, 5 people were killed.

Russia attacked Odesa with several waves of attack drones and missiles, 7 people were killed in the attack.
