On the night of April 15, russian troops carried out a massive raid of strike drones on Cherkasy, the fall of enemy targets was recorded in several locations in the regional center. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets in his official Telegram channel.
"A difficult night for the Cherkasy Region: the russians sent strike drones to the region. In particular, we record the fall of enemy targets in several locations in the regional center," the head of the Regional Military Administration reported.
According to preliminary data from the operational headquarters, civilians were injured as a result of the attack. Currently, doctors are providing assistance to the victims, the number of whom has already increased to three people.
"According to preliminary data, we have three victims. All necessary services are working," he noted.
Emergency and rescue operations are underway at the sites of the hits, and representatives of law enforcement agencies are documenting another crime against the civilian population. The military command has promised to provide a detailed report on the number of targets shot down and technical details of the attack later. At the same time, the authorities recall the President's warning about possible night attacks and urge citizens not to ignore air raid sirens.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy warned of a possible russian air attack on the night of April 15.
