Ukraine and Germany have agreed to exchange data from the battlefield. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Together with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, we signed the first agreement for Ukraine on the exchange of defense data with partners," he said.

Under this agreement, it is planned to launch joint projects:

analysis of the use of weapons: we are talking about analyzing the use of German systems, in particular PzH 2000, RCH 155, IRIS-T, based on combat data, which will increase the efficiency of their use and improve tactics;

exchange of combat data and best practices: Ukraine will share unique data from the battlefield, providing partners with access to it for training and improving AI models and analytical solutions.

"This is the world's first defense artificial intelligence development project of this scale. The partners will have access to unique combat data from DELTA and other digital systems that will help them develop technologies and improve their own capabilities. This is a win-win model of a new type of defense cooperation," said Fedorov.

The minister also said that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had proposed a bilateral agreement on drones to Germany - a drone deal - and the teams of the two countries are already working on further steps.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Fedorov also said that Ukraine has agreed on a new large-scale package of cooperation with Germany for EUR 4 billion, under which Germany will finance a contract for several hundred Patriot missiles, the supply of 36 IRIS-T launchers for air defense.
