In four years, Ukraine has built a new defense industry that is large-scale, efficient and impressive. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during his congratulations to the employees of the defense industry of Ukraine on Monday, April 13.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine has its own long-range missile weapons that are already working - Flamingo, Ruta, Peklo, Neptun, Palianytsia, and Vilkha. According to him, everyone sees the effectiveness of our long-range drones - at a distance of 1,750 kilometers from the border - "Sichen", "Liutyi", "Morok", "Bars", "Obrii", FP.
"For the first time in the history of this war, the enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned platforms - ground robotic systems and drones. The occupants surrendered, and this operation was carried out without the participation of infantry and without losses on our side. Ratel, Termit, Ardal, Rys, Zmii, Protektor, Volia and other our UAVs have already completed more than 22,000 missions at the front in just three months," the President said.
In addition, Ukraine has experience in ensuring maritime security, as no one has performed such tasks as Ukrainians in the Black Sea, Zelenskyy emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 13, Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said that more than half of the weapons currently used by the Defense Forces on the front line were made in Ukraine.
