Since beginning of "truce", General Staff records over 2,200 violations of ceasefire regime by enemy

Over the past day, 120 combat clashes have been recorded at the front. The enemy continues intensive assaults and massive attacks with drones, however, the Defense Forces are confidently holding their positions and inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. This was reported by the press center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As of the morning of April 12, the number of ceasefire violations reached 2,299 cases. The aggressor's main strike force is focused on the use of unmanned systems: 1,045 strikes by FPV drones and 747 strikes by kamikaze drones of the Lancet and Molniya types were recorded.

In addition, the enemy carried out 479 artillery attacks and 28 assault actions. According to updated information, over the past 24 hours alone, the enemy dropped 184 guided aerial bombs and used over 8,400 kamikaze drones of various modifications.

The most heated situation persists in the East, in particular in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka Axes, where the defenders stopped a total of 43 assault attacks in the areas of Myrnohrad, Udachne, Kostiantynivka and surrounding settlements. In the Lyman Axis, the enemy tried to break through the defense nine times, and in the Kharkiv Region, it carried out a series of unsuccessful attacks near Vovchanski Khutory and Starytsia. In the southern sector of the front, seven attacks were recorded in the Huliaypole Axis and three futile attempts to advance towards the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In response, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile troops and artillery struck two command posts and four areas of concentration of enemy manpower. 1,070 occupiers were eliminated during the day. Our soldiers also destroyed 8 tanks, 73 artillery systems and over 2,000 drones. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia Axes.

Recall that on April 9, russian dictator vladimir putin announced the so-called "Easter truce", which will supposedly last 32 hours.
