On the night of April 9-10, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked two drilling platforms of the aggressor country russia in the Caspian Sea. It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian military hit an ice-resistant fixed platform (LPS-2) on a drilling platform located at the Grayfer field.
An ice-resistant fixed platform (LSP-1) on a drilling platform at the Korchagin field was also hit.
"The drilling platforms are located in the north of the Caspian Sea, almost a thousand kilometers from the front line, and are an important link in the supply of fuel and lubricants to the Russian occupation army," the statement said
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last Sunday, April 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the port of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation. The Shekhsaris oil terminal, a key export facility for russian oil and oil products in the Black Sea, was attacked.
Today, on April 10, Reuters reported, citing its own sources, that the Shekhsaris terminal has resumed oil shipments, however, it can do so only on one berth, which indicates significant damage to the facility.
