The port of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian aggressor country has resumed shipments of oil and oil products through the Shekhsaris terminal, which was attacked by drones on the evening of Sunday, April 5.
Reuters reported this, citing its own sources on Friday, April 10.
The agency's unnamed interlocutors said that loading was resumed from only one berth. One shipment of 80,000 metric tons of cargo is expected to be shipped on Friday.
The oil loading schedule was expected to be shortened after the strikes, they said. It was unclear when the port would be able to resume full operations.
The sources added that on Thursday, April 9, the port of Novorossiysk resumed loading fuel oil. Another source said that earlier this week the port had loaded one batch of diesel fuel.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 5, Novorossiysk authorities said that the city was attacked by drones. Mayor Andrey Kravchenko reported a fire that broke out on the territory of the Shekhsaris terminal.
On Tuesday, April 7, the media reported, citing their own sources, that the Shekhsaris terminal was forced to suspend operations due to damage caused by a drone attack.
As a reminder, during the attack on Novorossiysk, the Ukrainian military hit a russian frigate that was in the port. This is one of the ships used by the occupiers to fire Kalibr missiles at Ukraine.
