The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on April 10 appointed Orest Mandzii as the Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The candidate was selected from among the finalists selected by the competition commission based on the results of the competitive selection for this position.
The commission consisted of three representatives from Ukraine and three foreign experts to ensure impartiality and objectivity.
Before his appointment, Mandzii headed a unit at the NABU.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the selection of the Head of the State Customs Service through a competition is part of the reform of the customs system of Ukraine.
