Russia has begun to deploy a strategic reserve to increase the number of its troops on the territory of Ukraine, despite the high level of losses, the number of the occupation group continues to grow. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced this, according to Suspilne.
"Every month we destroy the same number of occupants as they mobilize, but the number of their group on the territory of Ukraine is growing. That is, we believe that they are increasing their group by attracting servicemen from the strategic reserve," Zelenskyy explained the situation.
He added that this issue and methods of counteracting such a strengthening have already been worked out with the country's military leadership.
The President also commented on the enemy's intentions to capture Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk by the end of April. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that such plans were unrealizable.
"This is impossible, but it is not the first time they have set a deadline and now they have set themselves such an indicator. I have already told you about my meeting with British intelligence - we have a trusting relationship with them. They also do not see any opportunities for the Russians to do this," the head of state summarized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, putin announced an "Easter truce," it will allegedly last 32 hours.
