The aggressor country russia wants to create a "buffer zone" on the border with Ukraine - in the Vinnytsia Region on the side of the unrecognized Transnistria. However, they currently do not have the power to realize this. Deputy Head of the President's Office, Brigadier General Pavlo Palisa has stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

"The Russians are constantly changing their plans, especially the deadlines for their implementation. Of course, their main focus this year will be on Donbas. And under favorable conditions, they will also increase their efforts in the southern direction - this is the Oleksandrivka axis and the entire Zaporizhzhia axis," Palisa said.

According to him, as for their further intentions, the russians still plan to create a "buffer zone" in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv Regions.

Also, according to Palisa, they have not given up on creating conditions for an attempt to capture the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions and in the long run to realize their aggressive ambitions to capture the Mykolaiv and Odesa Regions.

"Moreover, they even have a clause in their plans to create a 'buffer zone' in the Vinnytsia Region on the side of the unrecognized Transnistria," he said.

Palisa also added that this is the first time they have recorded plans of this nature.

"Frankly speaking, there is no need to panic here, because at the moment I do not see them having the strength to realize all these intentions," Palisa emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Finnish OSINT project Black Bird Group said, that the offensive actions of the army of the aggressor country russia have not yet brought it significant success and are not able to create an impetus for significant advancement and territorial conquests.
