Ukraine is preparing the European part of the security proposals that have already been successfully presented and approved during the negotiations in the Middle East. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated this on Telegram.
According to the head of state, Ukrainian military expertise has proven to be effective in protecting the Gulf states, which has allowed us to reach the level of long-term agreements. One of the key aspects of international cooperation was the involvement of the Ukrainian military in consultations on the further functioning of the Strait of Hormuz.
"Safe navigation is a global value, we know this from the experience of defense in the Black Sea. We need everyone in the world to appreciate it as well," the President emphasized
He added that despite the instability around Iran and the complexity of relations between the United States and Europe, Ukraine's security interests remain unchanged.
The Head of State emphasized that Ukraine's experience in countering modern threats is now of critical importance for foreign partners.
"Their protection required urgent expertise and urgent response. We provided this - Ukrainian expertise worked, everyone recognizes this," Zelenskyy said.
The next weeks of diplomats' work will focus on scaling up this model in Europe, in particular through joint production and defense funding programs. In addition, similar requests for cooperation have been received from Asian countries, which the Foreign Ministries and relevant ministries are currently working on.
