Russian intelligence allegedly gave Iran the coordinates of 55 key facilities of Israel's energy infrastructure, which could become targets for high-precision missile strikes.

This was reported by The Jerusalem Post, citing a source close to Ukrainian intelligence.

According to the publication, this is a detailed list of strategic facilities, which indicates increased cooperation between Moscow and Tehran in the military and intelligence spheres. The transferred information, according to sources, makes it possible to plan strikes on Israel's energy system with high accuracy.

All potential targets are divided into three levels depending on their importance.

The first level includes electricity generation facilities, the destruction of which could actually paralyze the country's energy system. Among the priority targets is the Orot Rabin power plant.

The second level covers large energy hubs in cities and industrial centers, and the third - local infrastructure, including substations and smaller power plants.

The material also notes that the Israeli power system is considered vulnerable due to its isolation. The country does not actually import electricity, so damage to even a few key facilities can cause large-scale and prolonged outages.

According to Ukrainian officials, russia may have a dual goal. On the one hand, to strengthen Iran's position as an ally, and on the other, to "provoke a new crisis in the Middle East to divert the world's attention from the war in Ukraine."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 6, The Wall Street Journal wrote that attempts to establish a dialogue between the US and Iran have so far yielded no results. Tehran refused to make concessions and has effectively blocked the negotiation process.
