Russians attack energy sector in Kyiv Region this morning: Slavutych left without electricity

On the morning of April 6, the russians struck the energy infrastructure of the Kyiv Region. Slavutych was temporarily without electricity.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk.

As a result of the enemy attack on the Kyiv Region, Slavutych was temporarily left without electricity – this is about 21,000 people.

"As soon as the security situation allows, the power engineers will immediately begin restoration," Kalashnyk informed.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, all critical infrastructure has already been switched to backup power. There is water, social institutions are operating on generators. Communication and the Internet remain stable.

Invincibility points have also been opened.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, more than 350,000 consumers were left without electricity due to russian attacks on energy facilities in the Chernihiv Region.

Also, for the second day in a row, russian troops are purposefully attacking the oil and gas infrastructure of the Naftogaz Group in the Poltava and Sumy Regions.
