Stormy winds, rains and even snow: forecasters warn of sharp weather "coup" before Easter

The beginning of the pre-Easter week in Ukraine will bring a sharp change in the weather - with rains, strong winds and further cooling.

Forecaster Natalka Didenko reported that an atmospheric front will enter the country on April 6. "On April 6, an atmospheric front will visit Ukraine, which will bring rains to the west, north, and during the day of Monday will capture the central regions, as well as the Odesa and Kharkiv Regions with wet weather," she noted.

At the same time, some regions will still remain without precipitation. "In еру Luhansk, Donetsk Regions, most of the southern part, there will still be no precipitation tomorrow," the forecaster specified.

In addition to rain, Ukrainians are warned about strong winds. "On April 6, strong winds are expected in Ukraine, of northwestern origin, sometimes with storm gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second," Didenko emphasized.

The temperature will also begin to change: in the west and north it will be cooler - +9...+12 degrees, while in the rest of the territory it will still be warm up to +19.

Rain and stronger winds are expected in Kyiv on Monday, the temperature will be about +10...+12 degrees. "It will be windy in the capital tomorrow, so the comfort temperature is, of course, expected to be lower - dress accordingly," the forecaster warned.

However, this is only the beginning of the changes. "A noticeable decrease in air temperature is expected everywhere in Ukraine in the future, wet snow will fall in places in the middle of the week, with clearings during the week there is a possibility of frost!" Didenko warned.

According to preliminary forecasts, there will be no significant heat on Easter. "It won't be too warm on Easter, somewhere around +9…+12 degrees, but the sun will shine in most regions of Ukraine, and rain is possible on April 12 only in the southern part," she added.
