The aggressor country russia, in addition to its plans to seize as much Ukrainian territory as possible, wants to create a "buffer zone" in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has announced this on his Telegram channel.

"Russian troops do not refuse to continue offensive actions, they are regrouping their available forces and means. The goal of the invaders, despite significant losses in personnel and military equipment, is to seize more Ukrainian territory and create a "buffer zone" in the Dnipropetrovsk Region," he wrote.

According to Syrskyi, the Defense Forces are consistently and steadily conducting active defense, "inflicting significant fire damage on the occupiers, destroying enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment."

What is the situation in other areas?

The Commander-in-Chief noted that he regularly works in the hottest areas of the frontline.
