On the night of Saturday, April 4, russian troops struck Sumy. The strike drones hit a 16-story building and a private residential sector.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).
The department stated that the residents of the burning high-rise building were quickly evacuated.
According to preliminary data, seven people were injured, including one child. Rescuers used equipment for high-altitude work to extinguish the fire on the upper floors.
The hit sites were surveyed at four different addresses. The fire has been extinguished.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, explosions were heard in Kyiv on the morning of Saturday, April 4, and air defense operations were reported. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the attack resulted in a fire on the roof of a non-residential building in the Darnytskyi district.
