The losses of the aggressor country russia in the war against Ukraine in March exceeded 35,000 military personnel, which is confirmed by the system of video recording of each defeat. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Friday, April 3.
Zelenskyy said that the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine deprived the aggressor of the opportunity to impose the nature of the situation at the front. According to him, in March alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 274 russian air defense systems, as well as significantly damaged russian warehouses and military logistics.
"Russian losses in March reached the highest level during the war: only thanks to the strikes of our drones, 33988 Russian servicemen were killed or seriously wounded, and another 1363 occupants were eliminated thanks to artillery and other strikes. That is, more than 35,000 Russian losses in a month, and these are clearly confirmed losses: we have video recordings of each such defeat in our system," Zelenskyy said.
The President especially noted the soldiers of the Security Service of Ukraine's Central Specialized Unit "A", "Madyars' Birds", the special unit of border guards "Phoenix", Lazar's Group and the 95th separate air assault brigade, which were the most effective in the use of drones.
"We also discussed with the Minister a number of tasks for the coming weeks. In particular, we are preparing solutions to strengthen the Ukrainian infantry, the army's contracting system and the response to the unauthorized abandonement of military units - the measures must be those that will actually work. We are also preparing solutions to scale up the export capabilities of our arms manufacturers and joint production with partners," the head of state wrote.
