Russian plane drops two munitions in Kyrgyzstan during training

Russian Su-25 warplanes lost two munitions during training near the village of Sary-Kamysh in Kyrgyzstan. Craters formed at the site.

This was reported by the Kyrgyz media 24.kg and the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense.

Thus, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense confirmed the fact of the incident with the dropping of munitions by a russian Su-25 plane in the Issyk-Kul region and noted that it was about training weapons, local media quoted.

It is indicated that the event occurred on the evening of March 31 at about 05:25 pm. The Su-25 aircraft of the russian air base during training flights made an unauthorized drop of 2 blanks, which fell into the wasteland. There were no casualties or damage.

Currently, training flights have been suspended until the causes of the incident are clarified.

According to media reports, as a result of the fall of ammunition on the ground, two craters with a radius of 2-3 meters were formed. Local structures confirmed that this fact was registered and the materials were transferred to the Military Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
