The former spokesperson for the President of Ukraine Yuliia Mendel said that Volodymyr Zelenskyy evaded military service four times before becoming the head of state.
Mendel wrote about this on X.
In her post, she also mentioned Winston Churchill, with whom, according to her, Zelenskyy is often compared, and gave a list of his participation in military campaigns.

In particular, Churchill fought in the Cuban War of 1895, the Malacca Campaign of 1897, in the Sudan in 1898, during the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1900, and on the Western Front during the First World War. During this period, he received military awards.
Mendel noted that Zelenskyy, according to her, evaded conscription four times before becoming president, and concluded the post with a rhetorical question about what Churchill would say.
As a reminder, the former press secretary of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Yuliia Mendel, said that the former head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, was practicing magic. According to her, Yermak's magicians collect water from corpses and burn herbs.
