Tehran considers Ukraine "complicit in the military aggression of the United States and Israel" by sending Ukrainian specialists in countering drones to the Middle East. Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, stated this in a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and the Security Council in a letter.

According to him, the involvement of Ukrainian experts is evidence of material and operational support for operations against the Iranian side.

"Ukraine incurs international responsibility under international law for aiding or assisting in the commission of an internationally wrongful act," the Iranian diplomat emphasized.

Iranian claims that the presence of Ukrainian specialists in the region "is not incidental but reflects active participation in the unlawful use of force against a sovereign state." According to the Iranian representative, Kyiv's recognition of the fact of sending hundreds of experts actually confirms Ukraine's participation in the hostilities.

"Deliberately targeting civilian industrial infrastructure with the aim of economic pressure or collective punishment may constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law, including war crimes," Iranian representative added in his address to the UN.

At the same time, the Iranian side categorically rejected accusations that its military cooperation with Russia, in particular in the field of unmanned technologies, poses a threat to international security. Iranian officials called the statements of the Ukrainian representative to the UN groundless and without reliable evidence.

"Their goal is to divert attention from the ongoing aggressive war against the sovereign state of Iran," the diplomat summarized.

Official Kyiv has not yet provided an extended comment on these accusations, but earlier the Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly emphasized the right to share the experience of fighting kamikaze drones with allies.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 14, the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Ebrahim Azizi, said, that Ukraine turned its territory into a legitimate target of Iran through the assistance of drones.
