In 2025, the three leaders of the restaurant market earned more than UAH 26 billion.
Namely, McDonald's received UAH 21.3 billion in revenue in Ukraine, KFC - UAH 3.66 billion, and Puzata Khata - UAH 1.43 billion.
This is reported in a publication by Delo.ua, the Ukrainian News agency informs.
The publication says that the Ukrainian chain Puzata Khata has entered the top three, having accumulated turnover through two related companies and becoming the only local brand alongside international players.
The Ukrainian restaurant market continues to be concentrated around large international brands and several strong local chains.
McDonald's remains the leader, with a turnover of over UAH 21.3 billion in 2025.
McDonald's revenue in 2025 increased by 26.62% compared to 2024.
The second place is taken by KFC, which operates in Ukraine through several franchisees (Tasty Food LLC; Global Restaurant Group - Ukraine LLC and DTS-Kharkiv LLC).
Together, they generated a turnover of UAH 3.66 billion in 2025, which is 31.6% more than in 2024.
The combined turnover of the three operating companies is almost UAH 3.7 billion.
Puzata Khata demonstrates the highest turnover among Ukrainian chains.
Puzata Khata, like KFC, operates through several legal entities.
Analysis of financial statements shows that the chain's operating activities in different years were reflected in different companies, namely Deklar LLC in 2025 showed UAH 1.15 billion in revenue, and Primior LLC - UAH 284.5 million.
According to Delo.ua, the financial statements indicate the transfer of operating activities between legal entities in 2024-2025, so the revenues of these companies were combined for the rating.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, net income of the restaurant business in Ukraine in 2023 reached UAH 31.6 billion, which is 120% more than in 2022 and 26% more than in 2021.
