President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that after the rise in oil prices due to the consequences of the war against Iran, partners asked Ukraine to reduce the intensity of strikes on the oil sector of the aggressor country russia.

Zelenskyy made the statement during a conversation with journalists on Monday, March 30, RBC-Ukraine reports.

"Lately, after the global energy crisis, we have been receiving signals from some of our partners on how to reduce our obligations in the Russian oil energy sector," the President said.

At the same time, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine does not just strike at facilities on the territory of the russian federation - it responds to russian attacks.

He added that Ukraine is ready not to strike if the aggressor country stops attacking Ukrainian energy.

As the Ukrainian News agency previously reported, earlier today Zelenskyy said that Ukraine supports any ceasefire formats, including for Easter. According to him, Kyiv is also ready for compromises, but only if they do not violate the sovereignty and dignity of the country.

Also today, Zelenskyy had a conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb. One of the topics of the conversation was the downing of Ukrainian UAVs in Finland on Sunday, March 29.
