More than 50 IAF fighter jets carry out series of strikes on Iranian regime's infrastructure - IDF press service

More than 50 IDF fighter jets, with the assistance of military intelligence (AMAN), completed a series of strikes on the Iranian regime's infrastructure simultaneously in three regions of Iran on Friday, March 27.

It was reported by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The facilities were attacked simultaneously with the heavy water plant in Arak, which was a key infrastructure for plutonium production, and the plant in Yazd, which was used to produce explosives needed for the uranium enrichment process.

The air operation included three waves of strikes lasting several hours, targeting the central nuclear program plants in Arak and Yazd, as well as weapons production facilities of the Iranian regime forces.

Among the attacked objects:

  • military industry enterprises that were used for various types of weapons;
  • a facility of the Iranian Ministry of Defense, which was used to develop and produce advanced explosive devices, this facility served as a source of weapons supply to terrorist groups, including Hamas and Hezbollah;
  • a plant for the production of components for ballistic missiles and surface-to-air missiles.
