President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived on an official visit to Saudi Arabia. This is stated in the message on the Facebook account of the head of state on Thursday, March 26.
"Arrived in Saudi Arabia. Important meetings are planned. We appreciate the support and support those who are ready to work together with us for security," Zelensky said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the United States of America continues to supply missiles to the Patriot missile defense system, despite the escalation of the situation in the Persian Gulf and the shortage of weapons due to the war in the Middle East.
Also on March 26, Zelenskyy said that Kyiv had received official appeals from the United States, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait to strengthen air defense of their strategic facilities and military bases.
On March 17, Zelenskyy said that more than 200 Ukrainian specialists are in the Middle East to help defend against Iranian UAVs.
