Former US President's Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is very similar to US President Donald Trump.
He said this in an interview with Newsmax.
"Zelenskyy is a tough guy. He is very similar to President Trump. He is very direct. He is very strong - not in stature, but in character, in the way he acts and how he speaks," Kellogg said.
He also recalled that he had been to Ukraine, went to the front line and understands what is happening in the country. He paid tribute to the Ukrainians for what has been done during four years of full-scale war.
In addition, the American directly called russian leader vladimir putin an aggressor. He added that the United States should increase pressure on russia to bring the end of the war closer.
"Over time, putin simply has to understand that he cannot win this war. He is not winning the war, he is not defeating in the war," Kellogg stressed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, European leaders fear that US President Donald Trump's war in Iran will force him to abandon support for Ukraine.
