Drones of the Unmanned Systems Department of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine tracked and attacked a convoy of russian missile systems in the temporarily occupied Crimea that were preparing to strike at the territory of Ukraine. It was reported by the Defense Intelligence's press service.

The operation took place on the night of March 24 near the village of Furmanivka. Thanks to the professional actions of the reconnaissance men, it was possible to destroy one launcher of the Bastion coastal missile system and damage another, which prevented a threat to the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine.

The published footage of the objective control shows a convoy of four vehicles, including three Bastion systems and a control vehicle. Despite the presence of two mobile fire groups that were supposed to cover the vehicles, russian air defense did not detect the Ukrainian drones.

The quality of the video allowed the scouts to record in detail the configuration of the enemy vehicles just before the moment of impact. As a result of the attack, two Zircon missiles were destroyed, one of which detonated and flew uncontrollably in an uncertain direction, and seven servicemen of the russian Armed Forces were neutralized.

The Defense Intelligence emphasized that the operation was made possible by a long tracking of the target, which allowed the drones to make several circles around the objects before striking. The consequences of the strike confirm the complete absence of counteraction from enemy defenses in the area where the equipment was concentrated. This successful strike significantly undermined the occupiers' ability to use hypersonic weapons from the Crimean direction.
