On March 22 and on the night of March 23, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck important facilities of the fuel and energy infrastructure of the aggressor state of the russian federation. This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the oil terminal "Transneft - Port Primorsk" (Primorsk, Leningrad Oblast) was hit. According to preliminary information, both the tank farm and the oil loading infrastructure were hit. A fire on the territory of the facility is confirmed.

According to the General Staff, about 60 million tons of oil pass through the port of Primorsk annually. The aggressor country directs funds from the sale of oil to continue the war against Ukraine and support the russian occupation army.

The Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim oil refinery (Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan) was also hit - a fire on the territory of the enterprise was confirmed.

The refinery is located at a considerable distance from the state border of Ukraine, which is about 1,400 km," the General Staff noted.

It is noted that these facilities provide oil processing, storage and transportation of fuels and lubricants used for the needs of the occupation army.
