The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has begun a full review of the electronic declaration of former Minister of Justice and Energy Herman Halushchenko for 2025.
This is evidenced by NACP data, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Article 513 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" stipulates that the National Agency determines the procedure for selecting declarations for a full review and the priority of such review based on risk assessment, as well as the procedure for automated distribution of responsibilities for conducting a full review between authorized persons of the National Agency.
The average level of selection of declarations for all priority levels per month is about 80 declarations.
According to the NACP letter addressed to the head of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Anastasia Radina, a full review of the declaration submitted by Halushchenko for 2025 (before his dismissal) began on March 16, 2026.
In accordance with paragraph 17 of Section V of the Procedure for conducting a full review of the declaration of a person authorized to perform state or local government functions, approved by order of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention dated January 29, 2021 No. 26/21, registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on February 5, 2021 under No. 158/35780, the review may last up to 120 calendar days, with the possibility of extending the review period to 180 calendar days (if there are grounds).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Halushchenko said that he lived in the house of fugitive minister Zakharchenko for UAH 126,000 per month, although the landlord asked for UAH 650,000. He also explained who pays for his son's studies in Switzerland for USD 200,000 a year. A year ago, Halushchenko deposited more than a million into his bank account.
