Drone debris fell on building of SSU directorate in Lviv

In Lviv, the building of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) in the Lviv Region was damaged as a result of a russian drone attack on March 18.

This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

On March 18, at about 10:00 pm, a russian drone was spotted near the city, after which explosions were heard in Lviv.

On the same day, the head of the region said that the drone had attacked the building of the SSU regional directorate, and destruction was recorded at the scene.

However, on Thursday morning, he reported that, according to updated information, air defense soldiers shot down an enemy drone over Lviv on March 18, and its debris fell on the territory of the SSU directorate.

"There is destruction, broken windows. Fortunately, there were no victims or injuries," he wrote.

According to him, the wreckage of the drone is also being found in various areas of Lviv.

Kozytskyi urged residents not to approach them and to report any finds to the police and the State Emergency Service.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 22, explosions occurred in the center of Lviv, which took the life of a policewoman and injured 25 people.

The SSU classified the event as a terrorist attack, and the alleged female bomber was detained.
