Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to the British Parliament to create a joint system of protection against long-range attacks. For this purpose, Ukraine is ready to provide its radars and unique experience in intercepting drones. He said this during his address in London, the President's Office reports.
He noted that Ukrainian experts could deploy interception teams and acoustic coverage at UK bases in Cyprus to repel large-scale strikes.
"If Iran launches an attack similar to the Russian one, we guarantee protection. This is exactly the kind of reinforcement we offer, and it may soon be needed throughout Europe," the President emphasized.
The head of state paid special attention to threats from the sea, noting that drones can be launched even from the vessels of the russian "shadow fleet". According to the President, Ukrainian technologies already allow shooting down helicopters and fighter jets from the sea, and soon there will be systems capable of operating even in ocean conditions.
"Drones can solve problems that sometimes even the navy cannot," Volodymyr Zelenskyy summarized.
On March 17, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with King Charles III of Great Britain at Buckingham Palace.
Zelenskyy also presented King Charles III with an iPad, which shows events at the front in real time.
