On March 12, 2026, the Supervisory Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company held its first meeting in a new composition and elected its management.
This was announced in a statement by the Naftogaz of Ukraine group, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board is Duncan Nightingale, a Canadian expert with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and the Deputy Chairman is the representative of the state and State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Kostiantyn Marievych.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Duncan Nightingale, is a Canadian expert with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in upstream operational management and strategic development of energy assets.
He has successful experience working in Ukraine as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PJSC Ukrnafta, where he implemented OECD best practices in corporate governance and strengthened internal control systems.
Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board Kostiantyn Marievych - State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (has the 1st rank of civil servant).
From 2008 to 2014, he worked as a lawyer in legal entities of public and private law, was engaged in legal practice.
From 2014 to 2016, he held managerial positions in the Ministry of Regional Development, and was also the Deputy Head of the Affairs Department of the Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
From 2016 to 2019, he worked as the Deputy Head, Head of the Service of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Since 2020, he has worked as the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, and since June 2021, he has been appointed First Deputy State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
He was a member of the supervisory boards of JSC Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine and JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
At the meeting, the supervisory board formed three committees.
The Nomination, Remuneration and Evaluation Committee was chaired by Robert Sleszynski.
It also included Duncan Nightingale and Kostiantyn Marievych.
The Audit and Finance Committee was chaired by Eric Rasmussen, and the committee members were Thor Martin Anfinnsen and Anna Artemenko.
The Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee was chaired by Thor Martin Anfinnsen, and the committee members were Eric Rasmussen and Anna Artemenko.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early March, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the candidacies of independent members and state representatives to the new Supervisory Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company, who were selected by the Nomination Committee at a meeting on February 25.
