The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has provided additional payments for over 7,000 housing and communal services workers involved in repair work. Specialists who restored infrastructure in February will receive a bonus of UAH 20,000 each, the same payments are planned for March. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

She also noted that these additional payments apply to employees of CHPPs and brigades engaged in water, gas and heat supply, especially in areas that are regularly subjected to shelling.

"These are people who repair networks every day, restore water, heat and gas supplies, work at our CHPPs, eliminate the consequences of russian strikes and continue to ensure the livelihoods of cities and villages, including in frontline regions under constant shelling. I thank all utility workers for their selfless work and professionalism," the Prime Minister said.

Specialists from six regions and those who were sent to Kyiv to eliminate the consequences of damage to energy networks were separately noted.
