Since the beginning of the day, the number of aggressor attacks on the contact line has amounted to 79 episodes.
This is stated in the text of the operational summary from the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, posted on the official Facebook page of the military department.
Shelling of the border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy Region, Budky, Koreniok, Ryzhivka, Mala Slobidka, Stepanivka, Khodyne, Starykove, Yastrubshchyna, Iskryskivshchyna were shelled by artillery, and Kruzhok was hit by an air strike.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the enemy made two futile attempts to push our troops from their positions, fired 51 times at settlements and positions of our troops, two of which were with the use of multiple rocket launchers, dropped three guided aerial bombs, and conducted one air strike.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked once near the village of Vovchanski Khutory.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy once advanced towards Kurylivka.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian troops repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance near Drobysheve, Stavky and Lyman. One firefight is still ongoing.
On the Sloviansk axis, the occupants tried to approach the positions of our troops three times in the areas of Zakitne and Riznykivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy made two attacks in the areas of Nykyforivka and Novomarkove. One firefight is still ongoing.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the invaders carried out 15 offensives near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar and Sofiivka. Two battles are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks on the Pokrovsk axis near Toretske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne and Novopavlivka. One combat clash is still ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivsk axis, the enemy made three offensives near Oleksandrohrad and Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipole axis, 14 attacks took place in the areas of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske and Myrne. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Charivne and Dolyna. Four firefights are ongoing.
The enemy did not conduct active offensive on the Orikhiv axis.
On the Dnieper sector, one enemy attack took place. Lvove and Olhivka were hit by air strikes.
There are no significant changes in the situation in other sectors. The enemy's attempts to advance are not recorded.
