The aggressor country russia is helping Iran to strike at US troops and the Persian Gulf states by providing tactics for the use of strike drones. It was reported by the American TV channel CNN with reference to an intelligence representative of an unnamed Western country.

"What was more general support is now getting more concerning, including UAS (drone) targeting strategies that Russia employed in Ukraine," CNN quoted him as saying.

He declined to elaborate on what exactly russia's tactical assistance is, but in Ukraine, russian forces have been using wave tactics, launching multiple UAVs together so they fly together and constantly change course.

The day before, there was information that russia was providing Iran with general intelligence information. Specific tactical recommendations indicate a new level of support.

Also, on March 6, the media reported that US intelligence believes that China is preparing to deploy financial and technical support to Iran.

The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had received eleven requests from countries for assistance in repelling Iranian drone attacks.
