The National Bank of Ukraine has imposed a penalty on Accent Bank in the form of a fine of UAH 51,000 for violating the requirements for ethical behavior.
This is stated in the message of the NBU, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The enforcement measure was applied due to the fact that, based on the results of on-site supervision of compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on the protection of the rights of consumers of financial services, the National Bank revealed the fact of non-compliance with the requirements established by law for interaction with consumers during the settlement of overdue debts (requirements for ethical behavior) of JSC Accent Bank.
It is a violation of the requirements for interaction with consumers during the settlement of overdue debts (requirements for ethical behavior), established by Article 25 of the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Lending."
This decision was made by the Committee on Supervision and Regulation of Banks, Oversight of Payment Infrastructure on March 09, 2026.
