ATACMS and SCALP missiles hit important enemy target near Donetsk airport - General Staff

On Saturday, March 7, ATACMS and SCALP missiles hit a storage, preparation and launch site for enemy Shahed attack UAVs near the Donetsk airport.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that the strike was carried out by units of the Missile Forces and artillery of the Ground Forces together with the aircraft of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A large-scale fire and secondary detonation were recorded.

In addition, as part of reducing the combat potential of the russian aggressor, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine inflicted a series of other hits on the enemy on March 6 and on the night of March 7.

In particular, the control point of the occupiers' UAVs in the Dibrova area (TOT of the Luhansk Region) was hit, as well as a command and observation post in the Kruhlyakivka area (TOT of the Kharkiv Region).

In addition, the Defense Forces struck enemy artillery at firing positions: in the Tavilzhanka (TOT of the Kharkiv Region), Voskresenka and Novopavlivka (TOT of the Donetsk Region).

Also, areas of concentration of enemy manpower in the Novohryhorivka, Zaliznychne (TOT of the Zaporizhzhia Region), Torske (TOT of the Donetsk Region) and Sopych areas in the Sumy Region were hit.

The extent of the damage and the enemy's losses are being clarified.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of March 4, the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit a number of logistical facilities and concentrations of manpower of the russian occupiers.

On the night of March 2, the Defense Forces struck the space communications center of the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, in occupied Crimea, and three enemy radar stations in the occupied territories were also hit.
