Since the beginning of March, russian troops have sharply intensified their attacks on railroad infrastructure, carrying out an average of six attacks per day using UAVs and FPV drones. The main targets of the invaders were rolling stock and network facilities - a total of 41 facilities have already been damaged. It was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

Targeted attacks on the passenger sector pose a particular danger. In particular, during the morning attack on Mykolaiv, an enemy drone hit a carriage. The company emphasizes that the tragedy was prevented thanks to the vigilance of the staff.

"This morning in Mykolaiv, an enemy UAV attacked a passenger car. The monitoring group of Ukrzaliznytsia detected the drone in time and evacuated people. There were no casualties, but a train inspector was injured," Ukrzaliznytsia said.

A total of 17 units of rolling stock have been damaged since the beginning of the month. Despite the enemy's systematic pressure on the transport hub, the railroad continues to work under enhanced security protocols, which allows people to be removed from the risk zone in time before the collision.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russia attacked the railway infrastructure in Mykolaiv and the Dnipro-Kovel train, one person was wounded.

As a reminder, Ukrzaliznytsia is changing train traffic in the Dnipropetrovsk Region due to infrastructure damage. How they will run?
