The IAEA said it has no evidence that Iran is developing nuclear weapons, but remains seriously concerned about the nature of its nuclear program.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi noted that the agency has not recorded evidence of Tehran's development of a nuclear bomb. At the same time, he emphasized that large stockpiles of enriched uranium close to weapons-grade, as well as limited access to facilities for inspectors, leave a number of unresolved issues.

According to him, until Iran provides full cooperation with the agency and helps to clarify all aspects of safeguards, the IAEA will not be able to confirm that the country's nuclear program is exclusively peaceful.

Recall that Iran boasted during the negotiations with the United States that it had that it is capable of producing 11 nuclear bombs.
