The Pension Fund of Ukraine has begun the announced financing of indexed payments for March.
This is stated in a message from the Pension Fund of Ukraine on its official page, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"On March 2, financing of payments for March began: UAH 0.6 billion were allocated for pension payments through JSC Ukrposhta; UAH 121.0 million were allocated for payment of sick leave," the message says.
It is also reported that on March 2, 75,900 services were provided to persons who applied to the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
The PFU emphasizes that only those citizens who retired by December 31, 2025 inclusively will receive indexation.
Those who received a pension in 2026 will not have their payments reviewed yet.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers has decided to index pensions and insurance payments by 12.1% from March 1, 2026; after the recalculation, pensions will increase by at least UAH 100 and no more than UAH 2,595.
