President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the aggressor state of russia is preparing new massive attacks on Ukraine, in particular on water supply, in order to provoke problems with water.
He told journalists about this, Suspilne reports.
"Russia is preparing a new wave, it will attack infrastructure, logistics and water supply. They want us to have problems with water. Communities should focus on this challenge. We must receive more missiles for air defense," he said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the day before Zelenskyy stressed that the aggressor state of russia wanted to turn this winter into the destruction of Ukraine and Ukrainians. However, he said, "we have survived this winter, the most difficult in all the years of the war."
Earlier, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budris wrote to the International Criminal Court (ICC) requesting that russia's systematic attacks on Ukraine's energy, heat, and water infrastructure in the dead of winter be investigated as a crime of genocide, and that it consider issuing new arrest warrants for officials of the aggressor state of russia responsible for the attacks.
Meanwhile, on the night of March 2, the russians attacked the Kryvyi Rih district in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. In Kryvyi Rih itself, an enterprise was damaged, fires broke out. A transport enterprise in the city of Apostolovo was also damaged.
