The Defense Forces are launching a large-scale analysis of each loss on the battlefield to identify systemic problems and save the lives of defenders. In parallel, the state is automating the provision of units with drones so that brigades can confidently plan operations. Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov reported on these steps aimed at strengthening the technological capabilities of the army and protecting personnel.
The department pays special attention to the rejection of outdated methods of forming requests for weapons, striving to provide fighters with the best ready-made solutions. Commenting on the change in approaches to equipping the front.
"In the near future, we will move from manual formation of needs to an automatic model. Based on high-quality data from the front, we will form a real need without a "zoo" of ineffective solutions. Our goal is for the military to receive the best solutions, and not refine them with their own hands in the trenches," he noted.
To implement this strategy, this year it is planned to multiply the number of ground robotic complexes that will take on logistical tasks, thereby reducing the risks for soldiers. Work is also underway on domestic analogues of popular quadcopters using artificial intelligence and centralized supply of Starlink pickups and terminals. The revision of target indicators will allow to increase the production of fiber-optic drones, interceptors and strike systems to operational depth, which should provide the army with a technological advantage in the conditions of modern warfare.
Recall that earlier the Ministry of Defense reported that a comprehensive plan is being developed to address problems with mobilization and unauthorized abandonment of a military unit cases, one of the key elements of which is the expansion of the participation of foreigners.
