The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published data on the new russian cruise missile Izdeliye-30, which contains foreign components despite international sanctions. This was reported on the War&Sanctions portal.
The first cases of the use of this weapon against Ukraine were recorded at the end of last year. The missile has a wingspan of about three meters, a warhead weighing 800 kilograms and a flight range of at least 1,500 kilometers. The intelligence officers identified the product as a development of the Zvezda Design Bureau, which is part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation, and established contact with 20 enterprises involved in production cooperation.

A design analysis showed that the developers used a number of technical solutions unified with other russian missiles, in particular the Kh-35U and Kh-101. The experts paid special attention to the satellite navigation system, which is based on products from the russian companies VNIIR-Progress and KB Navis. The study confirmed that all key components of this system contain foreign-made electronic components, in particular from the USA, Switzerland, China and the Netherlands. At the same time, the electronic control unit of the BUBS-30 warhead is made on a russian element base using a microcontroller manufactured by PKK Milandre.
An interactive 3D model of the missile, published by the Defense Intelligence, allows you to examine in detail the structure of the product and specific foreign parts that allow the enemy to continue producing high-precision weapons. The publication of this data is aimed at increasing sanctions pressure on the supply chains of critical technologies to the aggressor country.
As a reminder, the US Department of the Treasury has released a report on sanctions evasion schemes that, according to the department, Iran used to obtain materials needed to produce drones. The document first mentions two companies registered in Ukraine that, according to the American side, were part of the supply chain to Iran.
