Ukrainians have successfully overcome a very difficult winter, despite the incessant terror and the enemy's attempts to destroy civilian infrastructure. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this in his address.
The head of state cited shocking statistics on winter attacks, noting that in three months russia launched more than 14,670 guided aerial bombs, 738 missiles and almost 19,000 attack drones.
"These are the same drones that the Iranian regime is now launching at countries in the Middle East," the President emphasized, stressing the global threat from the alliance of dictatorships.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the aggressor acted in the most cruel and cynical way.
"Ukrainians went through this difficult winter when Russia did not even try to find excuses for its brutal attacks on civilian critical infrastructure," he said.
Only in the last week of February, the enemy used more than 1,720 attack drones, almost 1300 guided aerial bombs and more than 100 missiles of various types. The President called on the international community to unwavering unity.
"Evil must be countered in any part of the world. When the United States and its partners are determined, even the bloodiest dictators eventually pay for their crimes," the President said.
In conclusion, he expressed his deep gratitude to all those who stand in defense of the country.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the aggressor country russia is attacking Ukraine with ballistic missiles actually from a factory, that is, produced in late 2025-early 2026.
On February 24, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 80% of Ukraine's territory remains unprotected from ballistic missile attacks by the aggressor country russia due to an acute shortage of appropriate air defense systems.
