On the night of March 1 (from 6 p.m. on February 28), russia attacked Ukraine with 123 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of attack UAVs from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the occupied Crimea. It was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
About 70 units of the total number were Shahed drones, and as of 8:30 a.m., air defense shot down or suppressed 110 enemy targets in the north, south and east of the country.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial vehicles and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. According to the available information, 13 attack UAVs were recorded at 7 locations, as well as the wreckage of downed drones fell at 4 locations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of February 28 (from 6 p.m. on February 27), the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Voronezh Oblast, as well as 105 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of attack UAVs from the directions of: Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Shatalovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo - russia, and the TOT of the Donetsk Region, Hvardiiske - TOT of the AR of Crimea. About 60 of them were Shaheds.
