The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has revised the settlement deadlines for certain export transactions in accordance with the proposals received from the government.

This is stated in the NBU message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Taking into account the results of consultations with the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the NBU increases the settlement deadlines for transactions on the export of agricultural and specialized machinery carried out from 180 to 270 days.

These are goods classified under the following codes according to the UKT FEA: 8424, 8428, 8432, 8716.

Increasing the payment deadlines will contribute to increasing the volume of exports of agricultural and specialized machinery, stimulate the growth of its production and investment in the development of machine-building enterprises, contribute to preserving labor potential and creating new jobs, expand opportunities for developing new sales markets and ensure an increase in foreign exchange earnings in Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in July 2024, the NBU increased the deadline for returning foreign exchange earnings for certain types of agricultural products from 90 to 120 days
