Fire breaks out in tram in Kyiv: fire occurred while it was moving

A fire broke out in a tram in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv on February 27 - the fire occurred while the transport was moving, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said.

Thus, at 1:23 pm, rescuers received a report of a fire on Kyrylivska Street (Podilskyi district) in Kyiv.

According to the State Emergency Service, a tram caught fire while it was moving. By 1:49 pm, the fire was extinguished on an area of ​​5 sq. m. There were no victims or injured.

Law enforcement officers are determining the cause of the fire.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, recently, due to the improvement in the situation in the power system and the increase in power supply limits, the capital's authorities decided to gradually return trams and trolleybuses to routes.
