Police looking for Nayyem to ensure his presence at Temporary Investigative Commission meeting - MP Honcharenko

Member of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksii Honcharenko said that the police are looking for former MP Mustafa Nayyem to ensure his presence at the meeting of the Temporary Investigative Commission (TIC). He reported this on Facebook.

"The police are looking for Mustafa Nayyem to ensure his presence at the meeting of our TIC," Honcharenko said.

According to the MP, Nayyem was officially invited to the TIC meeting on February 25, but he ignored the call, and in this regard the police were involved.

According to the document published by Honcharenko, the police, after considering the MP's letter on assistance in notifying and ensuring Nayyem's presence at the TIC meeting on February 25, visited the possible place of residence of Mustafa-Masi Nayyem, but it was not possible to establish his whereabouts.

"This is a parliamentary temporary investigative commission that considers possible violations of legislation in the field of defense, anti-corruption legislation and observance of rights and freedoms of citizens during martial law. Therefore, everything is simple: come to the meeting, give answers and act within the law," Honcharenko added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Nayyem was previously reminded of how he promised to protect the energy sector from attacks, but failed the task.
