A bilateral meeting with the American delegation - Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner - has begun in Geneva, where they are discussing the humanitarian track and possible exchanges. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov reported this on his Facebook page on Thursday, February 26.
Umerov noted that the Ukrainian delegation today includes David Arakhamia, Oleksii Sobolev and Daryna Marchak. According to him, the parties will discuss mechanisms of economic support and recovery of Ukraine, investment attraction and long-term cooperation.
"Together with David, we will also discuss preparations for the next round of trilateral talks with the Russian side - we need to synchronize our positions before this stage. An important block is the humanitarian track and the issue of possible exchanges. We are counting on concrete results on the return of our citizens," Umerov emphasized.
