Russian invaders attacked Kharkiv in the morning of February 26. Apartment buildings and the private sector were damaged, and there are casualties. Mayor Ihor Terekhov has reported this.
"As a result of the hits of two ballistic missiles and a group of Shahed UAVs on the Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi Districts of the city, apartment buildings, the private sector were damaged, wires of contact networks were cut, and a gas pipeline was cut off," the statement said.
He also reported that there was information about a direct hit on a residential high-rise building in the Shevchenkivskyi District.
As of 5:10 a.m., at least 7 people were reported injured.
"Another private house was completely destroyed in the Slobidskyi District. One person was injured there, there may be more people under the rubble. One of the strikes that night hit the Central Park," the mayor added.
