Kyiv received a batch of generators and the necessary equipment from its sister city of Hamburg. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"Kyiv received 20 autonomous power sources from the city hall of its sister city of Hamburg. These are generators of various capacities - from 66 kW to 110 kW. Equipment necessary for connecting the generators also arrived from Germany," Vitali Klitschko reported.
He thanked German friends for helping Kyiv and Ukraine during the energy crisis.
"I thank German friends for their help and support in overcoming the energy crisis by Kyiv and Ukraine, caused by the enemy's devastating attacks on our critical infrastructure!" Vitalii Klitschko wrote.
We will remind, after the massive shelling of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko called on Europe to help the city with generators. After that, Kyiv received more than two hundred generators from Poland, 30 from France, and 16 from Slovakia.
Another 500 generators came from the EU’s strategic reserve - rescEU.
